Can I disable my default message sort?

It appears that greater minds have decided that the "voting" system for message display stays.

I hate it!  I'm simply not adaptable enough to work with this.. 

Can I turn this off in my profile somewhere, or could this switch be added so that messages sort by date (like they used to) by default?

    There's an option within the thread to sort by date. I changed it once and all the other threads have sorted by date since.
    Edit: The option is directly over my name. Mine says: 1 Comment sorted by Votes Date AddedI betting yours has "Votes" in bold. Select "Date Added" and it should remain in that setting in the other threads.
