    Yes I changed both gains. With a gain of 2  the readings are 1.00 volt  in 1.00 volt at ADC reading then it stops nothing higher. A gain of 4 shows no readings at all. But a gain of 1 works.

    Could it be you are hitting the +-2.048V limit?   With a gain of two, 1.024V would do it.
