Nobody using gameduino 2?

I did a search also via google site search, but not much results here in the forum.

Is really nobody using the gameduino 2 (http://excamera.com/sphinx/gameduino2/)with the prop? For me it looks like a nice inexpensive display including GPU (FTDI F800), touch, sound, SD card and accelerometer.

I'll try anyway ;o)

Neat add on board! Hadn't heard of it til now. Are you going to use it wires on a breadboard or a Propeller Board ASC?

For the first tests I'll simply wrap some wires. And if it passed the tests, it will be fit into a self milled handheld case together with a milled PCB. Want to build a "handwheel" for my CNC router.

Not really keen on the gameduino 2. For about the same cash outlay we can have this little screen https://www.adafruit.com/products/1601 for all those Raspberry Pi we have lying around.

I had totally forgot about the Gameduino 2, it's nice little display for micros like the Prop. It shouldn't be hard at all to get it up and running and doing cool things with it.

I wonder how popular these niche products are anyway. I know it raised a bunch of money on Kick Starter (which is awesome) but other than the people who backed it, are they really selling a lot of these?

I think the Uzebox is more popular despite it being "technically" inferior. Of course, different "markets" I guess.

But no one around here even heard of the Uzebox let alone the Gameduino 2. But they all know about the RPi.

I got one when it came out, and tried it with one of my Arduino's.

Neat board, great PDF book for it - however I've been spending most of my time in RaspberryLand ... with RoboPi adding a propeller to my berries :)

There has been a thread http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php/146503 about the FT800 LCD controller, in which forum member Coley showed a ConnectEVE display driven by a propeller
