A while back (2009) Ray sold some 4.3" gently used graphic LCDs. I have one with mctrivia's breakout board and I have a use for it. I cannot find the redacted pdf file on my computer and his site is down :(. Does someone have that pdf and can post it on this thread? Thanks.

I can't find any sort of general datasheet for the display but I have this schematic for the breakout board.

What was on the pdf you're looking for?

I have a copy of the demo code if you need it.

Thanks Duane. I was on that thread earlier and I must've skipped over the bottom of it. That breakout board isn't the one I have. Mine has a I2C chip for the touch sensor and a 40 pin connector with the pin out silk screened on permitting 24 bit color use. I am planning on getting it running either on a Beaglebone Black or a DE0 Nano.

I did a little more researching and found a datasheet for the Samsung LMS430HF26 and the data looks identical to the other datasheet. The LMS430HF26 was used in the Galaxy S2. It is discontinued but I saw some vendors still have them in stock in the $25-50 range.

Interesting. I know have have several of Rayman's 4.3" screens. I have yet to really put them to really good use.

Here's a couple of my attempts to use them.

Above was supposed to be my "Universe Remote." It was intended to control the universe.

This next one is my robot remote.

I generally use a second Propeller as a graphics slave when I've used the displays. The displays sure look nice. I really ought to at least get my robot remote up and running properly. I think I got bogged down with the power supply. I think fitting a power supply into the projects will be a lot easier now that LiPo chargers and 5V boost regulators are so easy to come by.

Do you know if a Raspberry Pi (any version) has enough I/O pins to run these displays?

I hope you let us know what you do with your display. It may be worth getting a BBB to use with these displays. I'm very interested to know how the different color depth looks.
