A Beautiful Ply-ped

What an amazing job this fellow did, building and programming this PLYwood biPED. Mesmerizing to watch, the motions are beautifully scripted. From another forum, but IIRC, we like "projects, not platforms". A full dozen 9-gram servos. Duane & Martin_H, your course of action is clear: do this with a IK on a Propeller!

I can almost see a well-hacked S3 robot on the top platform of this bot. Legs instead of wheels. How cool would that be?

Impressive work! As much art as technology. It's great there are those with the persistence to see this kind of thing through to completion. So far in life I seem to go for bigger kicks with less effort. But my hat is off to all the real adults who make the world go 'round.

That is the work of the plywood robot elves. I'm not worthy.

Great robot and your S3 idea would be very cool indeed!

If I can walk that well thirty years from now, I'll be happy! :)
