Any Ipod Nano 7th Gen Experts Here?

My friend wants to scroll though images on an Ipad Nano using a phone as the controller. No audio. From what I hastily read, the 7th gen Nano has Bluetooth for sending audio, and has some BT connectivity with certain devices (input from a heart rate monitor, for instance).
You can connect your iPod nano to compatible Bluetooth headsets and other accessories, including some hands-free systems in newer cars, says Apple.
You can also connect to a Nike+ sensor or a Bluetooth heart rate monitor. iPod nano supports A2DP for audio streaming and AVRCP for controlling playback on Bluetooth devices, reads a support note on Apple.com.

Anyone here know if there's a simple way to do what my friend wants, or if it's possible? I'm not an Apple user, so I figured I'd ask the pros here.

Linux LIveCDs have a lot of BlackHat stuff for this kind of thing. You might start with looking over the listings at www.DistroWatch.com.
I suspect that if you can get the handshaking right, you can clone a BT link fairly easily. But it is only going to allow the device to work in the same role as the original. Are you wanting to crack into a Superuser mode? Much harder to do, maybe impossible.
