Hi guys,
(No, I do not have shares in the company, and they did not pay me)
I recently bought a 10.1" HannStar IPS LCD with HDMI/VGA/VIDEO adapter board, and it is gorgeous.
I'll be getting a few more for some of my Pi and prop projects.
I wrote a review of it with the Raspberry Pi - just ignore the HDMI portions, and think of using it with a Propeller via VGA (or even composite).

You can get it for between $80 - $150 USD from the usual suspects, long shipping & Ebay etc is the cheaper end, Adafruit is at the higher end.
There is a second video input on one of the headers, so at the same time I can hook up the following:
- Pi on HDMI input
- Prop on VGA input
- two more props / ntsc cameras / etc on the video inputs
Saves workbench space

Next door to our office is a Samsung office. That office had been supplying Samsung to displays to Nokia for ages. Since the MS takeover fiasco they are at a loose end and about to be closed down. I was trying to convince them they should produce a small display for the hobbyist market. With 5 million Pi owners and millions of other embedded system users that would like such a display there has to be an opportunity. So far they are turning their noses up at such small numbers...
YOU,
BILL!
Can't use the "saves space" angle....in some people's eyes, the best way to save space is a few large boxes and a call to the trash hauler!
Frankly, my favorite tv's and monitors are made by Samsung (at this time).
Re/price... if it becomes popular, the price will probably fall.
When I took a peek, it seemed to be available for about $80 including shipping on Ebay, mind you, that is slow boat from China shipping.
My recent purchase of Samsung large display.

I know what you mean... wifey wants us to get a bin and toss out a lot of stuff.
