Creative Servo Connections, Anyone?

EDIT: Thread renamed and this first post edited per Courtney Jacobs in post #10.
I'm writing an article on servos for (drumroll) SERVO, and I'm collecting some images on creatively using and connecting things to servos. Images may or may make it into the magazine, editor's choice. In particular, I remembered PJ Allen's "Cypherbot", which used peanut butter jar lids bolted to servo horns, with rubber band tires. PJ gave me the go-ahead to use some of his images.
Anyone else, feel free to share here. Magazine or not, it's helpful to share ideas!

You're welcome to use any photos I've taken. I could probably find higher resolution photos of anything I've posted. Let me know if you want to look for anything in particular.

I think all the photos are copies from posts I've made here on Parallax.
The two lower servos are ganged together to make a quick and dirty 360 degree servo.
Here's the thread:

This is one example of using Polymorph to mount servos. Another monstrosity which used Polymorph and servos was my Popsicle stick hexapod.

It looks like I also used a lot of Gorilla tape to hold things together.
One nice thing about may of the metal gear servos is they use M3 machine screws to hold on the servo horns. This make it easier to attach non-standard horns. Here's a picture of a Lego gear attached to a metal gear servo.
I'm sure I have other servo related photos I could find. I'm pretty sure I have photos of Lego gears attached to servo horns using Polymorph. Let me know if you want me to keep looking for servo photos.
Agreed, he's definitely a free and "outside the box" thinker-er. But based on his blog page, he's gone for good.
There isn't currently anything in this thread that deserves deletion, though I will axe it if you want me to.
Actually, it seems helpful to anyone searching for interesting servo- or unique robot wheel-related projects. I suggest simply renaming it something more explicative of what the thread has turned into (and avoid further discussions of PJ Allen himself and the whys of his departure).
