This seller is laughing all the way to the bank. A $55 DIY cardboard box and lens which works like a camera obscura with your phone: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Easy-DIY-Portable-Cinematic-Cardboard-Mobile-Cell-Smartphone-Projector-Kit-/151636179032
This was listed #1 on EBay's 25 Cleverest products http://www.ebay.com/gds/The-25-Cleverest-Products-on-eBay-/10000000182574546/g.html
Anyone can make this with a shoebox and a dollar-store magnifying glass (I did it). But the image is reversed, so you need to flip it with a mirror. It's definitely a novelty/experiment more than a useful item.
Another noteworthy claim: The box will also help amplify any sound from the phone

Honestly, I'm just mad that I didn't sell this snake oil first.

I had much the same reaction when the 'Pet Rock' was all the rage!
Don't get mad, get even....... Build the deluxe plywood version!!!!!!
eBay has a pretty scary idea of clever......
Not to mention the low standards to be on the list...
Check out the before & after images for the "battery storage and organizer" (#10).
There's a LOT of junk in that drawer (cables, pens, etc.) that's not in the after picture.

Missed the boat again!
Well actually it's a 4 inch diameter 8 inch long cylindrical core sample from a concrete bridge support. Full of interesting granite bits. Found it under a bridge.
Now, how to fit my rock out with USB?
Maybe the "Internet of Rocks" in the cloud?
Excellent placement! Try as I might, I could never keep any pet rocks in the cloud, they kept falling from favor.
(I didn't order one, I had my own rope)
