Does anyone know the settings that are used for the Tower Pro MG995 and MG996 servos in the PropBOE_BOT Center and Servo Test code? I Need to center a few of the Tower Pro Servos and all I have used in the past are Parallax servos. Thanks for the help.

Just about all hobby servos use the same center pulse of 1.5ms.

There are many different sources of MG995 and MG996R servos. Not all of these sources use the same manufacturer. I purchased some MG996R servos which didn't have any bearings. They just had bushings inside.

I posted some photos of the inside of the MG996R servos and the HobbyKing servos in my Halloween Hex thread.

    Are these continuous rotation servos?

While the center pulse is consistently 1.5ms, the endpoints of non-CR servos can vary. Some servos only have a 90 degree range of rotation while others have 180 degrees. The pulse lengths to reach these extreme positions is not consistent. Often servos can use pulses ranging from 0.5ms to 2.5ms and other will only have a range of 1.0ms to 2.0ms. You really need to experiment with the servos to see what its limits are.

If you have a QuickStart board, you can use my QuickStart servo tester to find the endpoints of your servos.

No, they are standard servos. I do have several QS boards so I will test using your code. Thanks.
