Has anyone experimented with these touch sensors?
EDIT: I found erco's post with for the TTP226 / 8 pad board: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php/156497-2.79-8-Channel-Capacitive-Keypad
There are various boards on eBay and elsewhere.
I was thinking about making a touch sensitive lamp module and found several circuits using 555 timers (with or without a flip-flop) and then came across these sensors.
I may order a few just to play around with...

They are momentary - they work as proximity sensors but your finger needs to be real close (like 1/16th inch). Not bad for $1.24.
