How critical is the resistance value of the ActivityBot 20k ohm p14, P15 resistors?

That's the question. As I solder overlay boards for my ActivityBot, I will need 2 for each board. I have a number of resistor assortments but none have 20k ohm resistors. So what range of resistance would be acceptable?

Thanks
Tom

22K is more common and would work just fine. I've even used 10K resistors without issue, but Andy bristles at the suggestion. :)

    Phil,

    Thanks.

I just mounted my first overlay board on an ActivityBoard. I bought the tilt tones kit during the last sale (primarily to get an extra ActivityBoard), and soldered the tilt tones parts to an overlay board.

When I mounted it, I see that there is enough space between the ABoard breadboard and the under side of the overlay board that the P14/P15 resistors will fit.

So for overlay boards that I build for the ABot, if I cut the power bus header and the Prop pins header 2 pins short each and don't have pins in the P14/P15 and left most 3.3v positions, I can just keep the existing P14/P15 resistors on my ABot in place.

    Tom
