    Oh my, do you actually mean that humans can be primates too?

    That must be where all the monkey see - monkey do has resulted in every third person wandering around with a tattoo these days.

    Or the ones holding up their pants because they can't figure out the belt goes above the hips.

    I think that an apposing thumb creature (definition of primate) that uses tools would have been a Software Engenier using the compilers, assemblers, charting apps, linkers, and debugers :) .

    Though that chimp is smarter than most of us.

    I think that an apposing thumb creature (definition of primate).

    I did not know that definition so naturally I had to Google it for verification, for skeptical reasons. This is what I found;

    definition of primate by Google

    pri·mate1
    ˈprīˌmāt,ˈprīmət/
    nounCHRISTIAN CHURCH
    the chief bishop or archbishop of a province.
    "the primate of Poland"

    Incidentally, primates aren't the only animals with opposable thumbs. Opossums are one example.

    Aren't opposums related to kangaroos - both marsupials?

    They don't use tools, do they?

    Did you know that male opposums are called Jacks and the females are called Jills?

    Of course they do, the pails of water they fetch from up the hill.
