Part No. For Switch

I have a Propeller Proto Board with a defective off-on-on switch that I would like to replace. Do anyone know the proper part to replace this? I already have the board all soldered up.

    I'm pretty sure that switch is not listed as a separate part on their web site so you may need to get it through tech support. Short of knowing the vendor and switch part number finding a replacement any other way will be very difficult.

    If, as I suspect, it's the same switch that's used on the Activity Board, the DigiKey part number is CKN9543-ND.

    Phil and kwinn

    I had an old board laying around, but I think it went in the garbage.

    Thanks

    Bruce,

    I've got some extras. Email me your mailing address, and I'll send you a couple.

    Sorry for the inconvenience, Bruce. Thanks for helping him out, Phil.

    To all others who encounter this thread: we've found a much better switch and it's being used on our newest builds. If anybody has a switch break I'll be happy to replace the board.

    @Phil

    I definitely appreciate the offer, but it is not an absolute necessity, because this switch will eventually be bypassed anyhow, and it still works, but it is a bit finicky. When I am finished with the board, the switch will remain in the 5V position, so I could simply solder a jumper wire in place of the switch.

    Like I said, thanks for the offer.

    By the way, grammatical error in Post #1 :)
    Do anyone know

    I was going to correct it, but... :)

    @Ken

    It is not a big deal, at least not on my end. I remember Parallax was having trouble with one particular switch and I imagine it was this one. Sorry about not mentioning the replacement warranty that you offer, I should have said something about it, but I did not want anyone to think that I wanted the board replaced, and it would have been long winded.

    Bruce, considering that you often change things just take up Ken's offer so it doesn't become a potential issue later.
