Oddball issue with SimpleIDE

So, I had recently made the mistake of installing an SSD without first backing up my things (yay), so had to reinstall everything. Now, for some oddball reason, I can't run SimpleIDE, I start it up, nothing happens, I see the process is running, but no activity coming from it, no change in memory usage, and no CPU usage. Running windows 8.1 with not much else, and just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what could cause this, as it was working before installing this SSD.

    If you run it from a command prompt, does it print anything out? If so, what? Normally it does this on my (linux) computer:
    "<my home folder>/translations/SimpleIDE_C.qm" 
Found Default Compiler. 
Found Default Loader Path.

    It should probably do something similar on your computer.
