MOSFET on QuickStart

Would anybody know what P-channel MOSFET is used on the QuickStart board? I think its a DMP2035U, but the bill of materials file just gives a Parallax stock code (500-10011).

The Diptrace Schematic shows D2 as a DMP2035U, so I think you are correct.

So it seems we have couple choices here... :)
Do you have a QS on hand to compare the component marking with the datasheets - that might identify which part is fitted?

Did it get changed from the Rev A and B schematic?

Thanks for the replies. I have two boards on hand: a REV A and Rev B. On Rev A, the marking appears to read E1PV8, and on Rev B, E2N95. I'll check with the data sheets of DMP2035U and IRLML6402TRPBF to see if this matches.

I'm reading E1FV8 on my Rev A boards, but I'm reading through a cheap magnifier and old eyes. :)

    The DMP2035U on Digikey:

    http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/DMP2035U-7/DMP2035U-7DICT-ND/2181234

almost matches the specs given for the BOM 500-10011 part.

Sorry Jim, don't know. However, the 2 part codes mentioned "E1PV8, E2N95" would both seem to be the IRLML6402PBFTR part, just with different date and lot codes.

If that other part was on the original schematic, It might be that both parts are similar spec, and at time of production the IRL part was available from stock.

That's entirely plausible, since the IRML6402... part is also used on the MoBoStamp-pe (#28300).

    Michael,

You are probably correct. You seem to have access to more information. I tried to cross reference E1PV8 and E1FV8 to no avail.

Looking forward to the new Flight Controller. I have a Version 1 and a Version 2 ELEV-8.

Indeed, from the data sheets, the part is most likely an IRLML6402, because of the markings.

I just verified this in our inventory control system, it is an International Rectifier IRLML6402TRPBF.

Thanks David, Would it be a pain to update the BOM and Diptrace files?
