Alright, so I have done all that i thought was necessary for playing .WAV files but they are still not playing. I have converted them to mono track segments, deleted the meta data, and tested and retested but I still can't get them to play. Any ideas?

It could be a multitude of things.

For starters; did you make sure the speakers are plugged in?

    Are the batteries fresh?

    Try posting some code, maybe?

I am sure someone can help after more information is provided.

Sorry, no ideas. Why do you keep asking for help?

You can't expect any real help UNLESS you are forthcoming with some real information.

    Q. What hardware are you using? (if it's a breadboard then attach a schematic)

    Q. What software are you using? (archive the project and post the zip file)

    Q. What do the WAV files look like? (attach an offending file).

    WavPlayer2j - Archive [Date 2015.03.18 Time 05.19].zip

    For the attached wav player:

    1. Make sure left and right audio output pins match your setup.
    2. Make sure you have an audio amplifier on these pins that works.
    3. Make sure SD card pin settings are correct.
    4. Make sure SD card access works
    5. Make sure the file you want to play is on SD card
    6. Make sure file is stereo, 16-bit PCM WAV

Here's a test wav file that works:
    test7.zip

Here's a player that plays an embedded wav file, so it doesn't depend on SD card.

Wav files are 8-bit, mono and tiny:

    Spin8bitWavPlayer.zip

All you need to do is make sure pin settings and external audio amplifier are correct.

If you have amplified speakers maybe all you need is a resistor/capacitor filter at the output pins.

Not really, just updated some text and set volume controls in a better way...
