A neat use of (Coaxial) stepper motors. I think a few here (incl Phil Ken Rich Rick Whit Martin & Duane) will appreciate. Not my project, I just downloaded the video from http://www.dize.de/bcd1.htm

    Just trying to read the time with this upsets me. I guess it is somewhat the same as why some people get upset trying to read Korean. There is just so much going on and it is all very angular.

    I admit, I am not fond of digital clocks at all. They make me nervous. Analog dials are more soothing to watch, especially if the hands don't tick -- glide smoothly around the dial.

    I do admit it is creative.

    Very cunning.

    I did not get the "analog" part though.

    @Loopy,

    I find all clocks disturbing.

    As you watch those hands gracefully sweeping around or those digits flipping over, that is your life span running out.

    I think the clock and a sense of time is the worst ever human invention.

    Harumph! Major fail as a clock. Not the right time at all -- it's 2:18.

    Even dead, "stuck" analog clocks are right twice a day...
