Propeller Board on Parallax Stingray, PWM

Hello everyone,
for a science project I need to modify the acceleration, end-speed and curve trajectory of my parallax stingray bot.
Therefore I was planning to use Pulse-width modulation. I have no previous knowledge in programming the propeller board, respectively PWM.
Any proposal of a simple code that I could implement and use for my studies would be greatly appreciated!

I want to be using spin if possible.
In my Stingray Robot manual there is a reference to an object "PWM_32".
However I could not find the described download.
Could you give me any information on that object?
That was a hard file to find on the web, but I had one archive on my hard drive.
Hope it's the correct one.
