The Doodle Computer

Okay, I purchased a Wacom Intuos Manga tablet (touch screen and pen input) that is USB linked to whatever one desires.
My original interest was simply to use my Debian Linux computers to do graphic creation. And I am extremely happy with the results. But now I am curious as to whether my Cubieboard or other ARM platforms (the Raspberry Pi, Beagle Bone, etc.) might work well with this as an artistic 'Doodle Computer'.
Considering how much time one spends in art creation with the computer doing little else, it is a bit of an overkill to use a conventional computer system for this. With these devices, one can use an HDMI interface to one's TV and the Wacom tablet can be either the sole input device or work along side a USB keyboard.

Has anyone else explored the idea of a dedicated Doodle Computer?
Linux provides GIMP, Inkscape, MyPaint, and ImageMagik for graphic artist. But since I get better performance of my Cubieboard in Android, I wonder if others have used Android for graphic art creation.
It seems MyPaint and Wacom both support Android. So this all may be simply a configuration task.
