Yeah, I'm not sure I like the idea much either.

Let's see how it goes. Might get used to it.

I think the all-in-one-bucket approach will harm development.
All-in-one-bucket works ok for chit-chat, and user questions, but the longer time frames of development vanish under the noise to signal ratio.

Really? Who decided to do this? For what reason?

I agree and I also think it will have an invisible affect on future sales.

Not that I am any marketing genius or sales guru, but this is what I think.

Parallax came to the realization that they must become C and C++ compatible to be competive in the marketplace. They struggled and strived to make it all happen, and just when they have something they can really start promoting, it is then hidden amongst all the other languages.

    I say shine that light!

Ah, I see Ken Gracey decided this. I guess this raises PropGCC to first class status. :-)

    As it somehow pertains.....

Last that I recall, Jazz informed us that he got a new job and that he wouldn't be spending as much time on the forums. I wonder if the development of SimpleIDE is still going forward or if it is a case of WYSIWYG.

Depends on who loves it enough. SimpleIDE is opensource. One could fork it and move it on. Hopefully good and useful changes would be pulled back to Parallax's repo.

It's Elmer Fudd, and "Which way did he go?"

Sorry, I watched waaay too much television when I was a kid, and Bugs Bunny was one of my favorite cartoons. :)

BTW, I suggested that we get rid of all sub-forums, and just have one forum. So you can blame me too.

I could work on the user interface from time to time, depending on which developing tools were used and how big the learning curve is to use the developing tools.

I think Steve is still working on SimpleIDE as needed.

Thanks guys, at least I know what happened.

Not sure it was a good idea, it will be harder to find progcc related threads.
