I finally got the parts I needed to upgrade my Basic Stamp BoeBot to an Activity Bot. I still don't have the 5-cell battery pack... still running with the original 4-cell. I'm planning to shoehorn in a 7.2 volt, Ni-MH R/C pack and that's going to require rerouting the various servo cables.

I've added a few things not on the AB:
a) Ping sensor with bracket and servo that's mounted to the BoeBot chassis with a sturdy aluminum bracket.
b) Front bumper to add a bit more protection for the Ping (and later to add headlights).
c) Rear post to mount sensors 'cuz the breadboard will get pretty crowded (currently mounting a compass module).
d) Lastly some nylon cable brackets to route the servo and power cables.

Been playing with the little beastie all afternoon. The initial calibration run was a bit wonky and I had to run it a couple of times. Working on a figure-eight... should have it working tomorrow. (Fingers crossed :-> )

    Handsome fellow!

Edit - How is that figure 8 coming - video in the erco challenge thread?

I really like the nylon cable brackets, by the way! ;-)
