Jim might be the only person (car guy) to appreciate the other thing I got excited about today replacing that valve cover gasket:
I found out that my PT Snoozer has roller rockers. Between that, 4 valves per cylinder and dual overhead cams, it IS a hot rod!
PS: Erco's "Leaning Tower of Sockets" has a nice ring to it, right?
Great song Rick, I'll be singing that all day.
Valve cover gasket on horizontal opposed engines are even cooler when you have to lay on your back to change them.
I wanted to put a roller crank in my 1850cc VW bug but, a 19 year old could not afford a $500 crank. I know you said rockers, but the crank would have been the cats meow back then.
Alas, my roller rockers do not a hot rod make, but they sure are tiny and cute. I like my motor better now. Feels good to get my hands dirty again. Maybe I need a bigger car project soon... (?)

Still nursing that cold? Get Better.
99 sockets to test.
Take one down,
Check pins all around,
98 sockets to test 'til I'm done.....
...ohhhhhhhhh - I didn't see the chip in the top socket.
Gotcha, understood.

My cast-aluminium engine with a 10:1 compression... using 95 Octane... That's hot.
(Well, not any more, after I fixed the cooling... )
