Message from the editors:

This pocket reference is intended as a valuable quick guide for often used board- and system-
level design formulae. This collection of formulae is based on a combined 50 years of analog
board- and system-level expertise. Much of the material herein was referred to over the years
via a folder stuffed full of printouts. Those worn pages have been organized and the information is now available via this guide in a bound and hard-to-lose format!
Here is a brief overview of the key areas included:
•
Key constants and conversions
•
Discrete components
•
AC and DC analog equations
•
Op amp basic configurations
•
OP amp bandwidth and stability
•
Overview of sensors
•
PCB trace R, L, C
•
Wire L, R, C
•
Binary, hex and decimal formats
•
A/D and D/A conversions
=====================================================

I downloaded the eBook and so far it looks interesting :)

Umm... there was a time when a pocket reference could actually be carried in one's pocket. I guess I will have to overlook the fact that it is a PDF file and accept the metaphorical sense.

A mobile device can read PDF files. Most mobile devices still fit in your pocket. :)

I have ALL my eBook's in my pocket. A 64 GB Key Chain thumb drive. I don't know how many times it has ended up in the washer/dryer and it is still working fine. A plug for PNY!!!!

Well, I knew the rebuttal was coming. But the fact that one can fit several thousands of pages onto an SDcard and put that in one's pocket -- with a pad-phone as reader, isn't quite the same thing as a traditional pocket reference.

Nonetheless, I am quite happy with the paradigm shift. For years and years I have had to carry around Chinese-English dictionaries and all sorts of other texts in order to teach English here. Finally my ZenFone 5 is lightening the load.

But I am nostalgic about pocket books in general, and 2nd hand book stores where you could trade-in a pile and get more.

I have a PNY 1GB USB drive that has been washed, stepped on and otherwise abused till it's only a USB connector with a circuit board attached. Still works like a charm! Good product.
