I guess this is a teaser for an upcoming Nat Geo video. I need to see the drones' FPV of lalling into the lava...

    Great video, but why not they used specialised, high temperature resistant drones, which are already being used by fire departments?

    Fantastic video.

    I suspect it's cheaper to lose a bunch of regular quad copters in there than it is to loose a single specialized one.

    Probably they were free anyway. It's good advertising for the manufacturer.

    Unlike fire fighters they don't have to worry about life saving so just throw them in their and let'm vapourize!
