Jon and anyone else in the LA area should head out to Venice at 7 pm tonight. Ctrl.Me is a drone shop, they sell/lease/service camera drones in the LA area for movies etc. They are having a launch party tonight. I guess that's like a grand opening, although they have been around a while. Looks like fun, I'm planning to go. Kind of overcast here, hopefully the rain holds off until tomorrow as forecast.

    Do you have any idea how long it would take me to drive from Burbank to Venice on a Friday night?! :)

    Sounds like fun, though.

    Phew, I'm actually relieved to hear you're not coming. Me neither now. Within the last hour, this little cold my thoughtful daughter gave me has blossomed into something really nasty. I felt OK when I posted but now this cowpoke's gonna stay inside with some hot soup. What a wild weekend I have ahead of me...

    The other Jon that flies drones concurs on the transit time. Few days notice I'd be up there with the VU copter or two.
