Sold and thanks! They might even make good little project boxes if they are strong enough. Or maybe stiff enough for a one-servo robot chassis?

Yes they are stiff enough to be used as robot chassis. But usually, from the past experience, I can say that some colors come in a bit scorched shape - has no impact on battery storage conditions, but might be hard to use as chassis, since sides won't be parallaxing :)

My 30 boxes arrived today, all crystal clear/white instead of the random rainbow colors shown in the Ebay photos. All arrived in beautifully rigid and square condition, not misshapen at all. And yes, a lovely one-servo robot begs to be put in there. Plenty of room for a 170 hole breadboard, micro servo, and small lithium battery.

Thanks for the tip, CuriousOne. Welcome to the cheap parts/bulk buy team!

How did you manage to buy? When I look at the ebay link it says "does not ship to Norway" (even though I'm in Japan). It says "ships worldwide", and a button to see exclusions. Ok that lists not only Europe (which explains "does not ship to Norway"), but also America! North, South, and Central. And Asia and Africa..

    Strange, mine still says:

    Acceptance

    Feb-26-15, 20:27 PM

    No more info.

For the shipping, here is what it says:
    Shipping and handling

    Item location: Shenzhen, China

    Shipping to: Worldwide

Excludes: APO/FPO, US Protectorates, Alaska/Hawaii, Africa, Asia, Central America and Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, North America, Oceania, Southeast Asia, South America, PO Box
I guess, by "north america" they mean canada or iceland? :)

I have created a list of "fast" and "slow" china sellers - ones that I've ordered items several times, and some of them are fast (4-9 days to U.S.) and others are "slow (more than 10 days, usually around 2 weeks). If anyone interested, I can share it.
Interesting note, all chinese goods I've ordered, have tracking starting in NY in US. Have no idea why not to deliver to west coast and then use ground transport for final delivery?

CuriousOne, I believe that is because the chinese goods come in huge shipping containers where all those ebay sales are included. That's why they can keep the shipping so low - and why it sometimes takes much longer before the goods arrive, they have to wait for the next container shipment. There would be no room for more detailed destination-specific variations in this scheme.
It also explains why it's generally faster to get ebay goods to the US than to Norway, they can ship containers more often to larger markets (in the past, before ultra-cheap shipping, it rarely took even six days to the final destination in Norway - probably just 3 or four to reach the country. Now you may be lucky and hit a shipping slot and get it in ten days, but if you just miss it then the next one will be a month or so later).

Yes, that sounds logical, but it's interesting, how some sellers always ship the right time, and others - no? :)

Ron's traveled so quickly in shipping that red shift occurred and half peed on themselves!

    ;)

I was expecting clear ones like everyone else was getting - actually would have rather had the clear...

I used three for some CR123A batteries -not sure what to do with the other. Good for small screws, washers, etc I guess
