I get offbeat ideas watching my girls play. Here are a bunch of dollar items: toy pans and clipboard are from the dollar store, and three Parallax servos are from a RadioShack selling them for under a dollar last year. Need more!

As for why I built this gizmo, I can only plead insanity.

    More importantly, who is this guy Publison, and how does he have time to scan the forums constantly and reply to new posts within 6 minutes?

    This is neat, but it's also art worthy of display at the ICA.

    It's Sisyphean because it demonstrates the repetitive, and ultimately futile nature of existence. The robot struggles with its eternal task knowing that failure is inevitable. But the robot continues its revolt against the absurdity of existence in an unintelligible void.
