I'm trying to figure out when the picture of my house was taken....I'm guessing a Saturday or Sunday in September.
My new car is sitting in the driveway and the passenger rear door is open. I purchased the car on September 3rd.
Things are VERY green, which makes me think September.
My Lawnmower is sitting in the front yard. That pretty much places it as a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
OK, I'm guessing Sunday, early late morning, early afternoon. There isn't any Farmer's Market which pretty much rules out Saturday and there is a bit of church activity around town. This assumes they covered my small town in a single day's photo session.
Wonder what other clues I can find to give me a time context???
I'm not real impressed with the navigation via mouse (Mac Magic Mouse) - it's a great way to get motion sickness!
Thanks for the link, it does look like fun to play with. I'll have to go visiting!

At the very bottom of the screen it should tell you the date it was taken. It says "Imagery Date: xx/xx/xxxx"
Also, at the top there is an icon that looks like a clock with a counterclockwise arrow on the top, click that to open a timeline for viewing older aerial photos.
I hate the way it will automatically tilts the view when zooming in. You can disable that "feature" in the options under the "Navigation" tab.

Direct Mac link http://dl.google.com/earth/client/advanced/current/GoogleEarthProMac-Intel.dmg
Then use your email address and the license key "GEPFREE". You don't need to sign up.

Or even sending a Google Earth mapping vehicle past the homes of everyone who has Wifi unsecured and collecting data?
Great!
Thanks for the heads-up.
Downloaded the setup and it works fine.
