Hydra Expansion Card Problem

I used the expansion card that came with the hydra to add an XBee adaptor to the unit. It seems that when the expansion card is inserted, it automatically causes the address of the EEPROM to change using the 3.3 volt loopback. Is there a simple way to disable this feature other than cutting the trace to the connector on the card?

There are a couple different expansion cards for the Hydra. Are you using the blank card or the 128K expansion card? If you are using the 128K card you should be able to load your program right onto the 128K EEPROM on that card instead. I don't recall that the blank card made the address change for the main EEPROM but if it does I would cut the trace on the expansion card and not modify the Hydra itself.

I was using the blank card to add the XBee adaptor. I ended up just cutting the trace on the board.
