openSpectrometer, OSH Park shared projects?

Poking around on the shared projects there, I ran across this openSpectrometer 0.2. Uses a Propeller, a Toshiba CCD and a Wolfson WM8253 CCD digitizer.
Shared projects on OSH Park (of which there are many) come with practically nothing in the way of links to follow. Author (apart from a screen name), parts, schematics. Does it work and how to follow up?

I do have one of the DIY spectrometers from Public Labs. It uses a wedge cut off a DVD for a grating, behind a simple slit, and a USB webcam to detect the light. Nowhere near as sophisticated, but educational.
