This is an amazing piece of work:

How on earth anyone would have the patience to make such a thing beats me.

His other creations are equally mind-boggling! He intends to make an electronic calculator using similar construction techniques.

How extraordinary! He must be the reincarnation of John Harrison.

His other completed project, "The Tower" has a beautiful power supply in it's base that is itself a fine work of geometric art.

Good grief. Took me a while to realize what I was looking at there.

That's up there with the guy that built an entire digital clock with vacuum tubes for logic and nixies for display. Sadly I can't find the link anymore as google is overrun with nixie tube clocks now a days.

Knocks the socks of my TTL/Nixie clock from 1970 something.

    Mike Cook,

Hey thanks, that's the guy. No wonder I could not find it, being in German and all. Another work of art.

But wait, that site does not look how I remember, I could have sworn the one I do remember was American.

Can there really be two people in the world to have done such a crazy thing?

Wow. Imagine: a clock that not only tells the time, but heats your house, too!
