Westbound with low fuel wouldn't be so bad.

    Nice looking dog.hmm plane.

You night need to take good care of the dog, extra patting once in a while. Not that he looks for another pilot...

    Enjoy!

The dog looks like he's being impatient with you getting that thing off the ground. Our dogs have always loved riding in cars, I never thought about how they might like planes.

Used to do that with my kids all the time, they loved it. "Dad! Do it again!" Of course, they were belted in - usually. :-)

He (Loki) would probably be okay at a less busy airport. He was very concerned with the loud jet traffic and insisted on being in my lap. It was a stretch for the aircraft owner to allow it to happen, and the dog wasn't really happy so we went to the park instead :)

hat dog in zero G looked quite the opposite, he'd probably enjoy skydiving too!

In my experience, dogs really don't like the noise in the airplane. I could never figure out decent ear protection for my dogs, so they didn't get to go.

Great video. All in all, dog seemed to handle it with aplomb...or at least patience. Must not have been his first time.

My dog rides on my Yamaha motorscooter here in Taiwan.... lots of dogs do.
And it seems the other dogs envy them.

My neighbor's dogs sometimes demand a ride around the block because their owner never takes them anywhere.

I strongly suspect canines have their own love affair with speed and the open road. My mutt even seems happier running along with my scooter rather than just walking with me. I strongly suspect there is a canine equivalent of 'runner's high' that is at the bottom of all this.

Well, when the topic is Justin Bieber's spoiled lifestyle, what can one expect?

I find it far more interesting that one man brings all four of his dogs to the park on one 90cc motor scooter. The dogs have each worked out their own position and miraculously climb on and stay on as he drives off towards home. No seat belts, no special baskets. Two behind him, one on the floor board, and one on the handlebars.

My feeling about Justin is that we should just make one day each year a "Slap Justin" day, so he might actually grow up and stop behaving like a spoiled brat. But I suspect he would just hide away on the French Rivera behind a few body guards and gloat.

Then again, there are a few motor scooter drivers I'd like to slap as well.

    Loopy,

Oh what? You have to get us a video of the four dogs on a scooter!

It may take sometime. I haven't seen him at the park in quite awhile. At one point he was ill for quite awhile and his son brought all four dogs to park the same way.

My mutt is roughly 30 kilos and looks like a black German Sheppard, but I suspect is is half Husky and half native Taiwan dog. It is hard to believe, but we have been riding a motor scooter together for 13 or so years now. And he has done very well in a few tight spots over the years, including me once dumping the motor scooter due to a collision ahead.

Here is a guy that has two riding. I certainly don't try to put goggles,a helmet, and clothes on my dog. It gets a bit silly. It is not uncommon to see two dogs riding in Kaohsiung. Three or four on one scooter are a bit rare, and dogs have to be smaller.

    More dogs and scooters...

Of course, one has to grasp the traffic, the typhoons, and thunder and lightning that occurs. My mutt and I have been through it all.

The German Shepard in that second link looks decidedly nervous about his situation. The others look like they are loving it though.

Never though I would say this but it looks like I need to get a scooter and a dog. Law round here won't allow putting the two together though.

Well, I am pretty sure the Taiwanese dogs love it. And the average Taiwanese dog seems to be quite intelligent and aware of what humans are up to.

I suspect that back in California, this would raise umbrage with the local law enforcement and animal rights lobby. So i guess I will at least remain here for the remainder of my dog's life. California is not safe for a dog to merely cross the street. Mine thinks that everyone will stop or avoid him... and they do.
