Help with MS5607 altimeter (#29124)

Hi everyone,
I'm having some trouble using the MS5607 (#29124) with Python SMBus on a Raspberry Pi. I have it wired to the GPIO on the Pi correctly and I can see it in the list of I2C devices in Linux at address 0x76, but when I try to read data from it, it returns 0.
Could someone please help me out with this?
