ELEV-8 V2 Quadcopter Kit - No Flight Controller

Any suggestions for a compatible flight controller? I have a Tenergy TB6B and ELEV-8 Li-Po Battery Pack in route. I plan on buying a DX8i for the radio.

    If you want inexpensive, a KK controller will work fine, and the mounting holes are the same as the HoverFly board.

    A while back I bought one of the HoverflyGIMBAL 9-DOF Experimenter boards. Could that be used as a flight controller?

    Not by itself, no - It only has 3 inputs and 3 outputs. If you were to pair it up with another board that it could talk to, you could use it to do the processing, and use a serial connection with the other board handling the receiver inputs and ESC outputs. I want to try doing this, but it's not trivial.
