Didn't Parallax have USPS Priority shipping at one time? I worked up an order for some parts from parallax and even with the 10% discount when I added shipping I could buy the same order from DigiKey for less because of the availability of mail priority shipping.

I just placed an order Monday morning and used USPS Priority. In fact right now you get free Priority shipping with a $50 purchase.

Parallax also has a USPS First Class option which is very inexpensive. In fact the postage on the box is usually more than what I was charged for shipping when I've used the First Class option.

I don't suppose you were ordering something that can't be shipped USPS?

Parallax has Priority Shipping. It's included in the 10% offer in effect right now. I just used it two days ago.

You have to select the shipping option. I believe it was the last one one the bottom at checkout, (stil free for orders over $50).

That's where I remember the Priority shipping option being located. I seem to recall it was a little inconspicuous. I didn't see it right away.

What's more, the USPS shipping is always faster to Louisiana than the Standard UPS and cheaper! I love it. I used the free USPS shipping a week or so ago on a $100 order and as mentioned above they are now offering it on a $50 order! HARD to resist...

Sorry I must be doing something wrong as when I proceed to the shipping page on checkout I only can see the four UPS options and no Priority Mail option and nothing about the free shipping. Am I missing something in my odering process?

So you don't get a page that looks like this?

Is the order more than $50?

The USPS options don't have a logo next to them like the UPS options do.

I just tried an order under $50 and I was given two USPS options (1st Class and Priority).

I tried to upload the screen I saw but the forum won't let me right now. My screen looked a lot like Publison's except I had one extra option (USPS 1st Class).

no I do not see that screen and yes my order is over 50 dollars. Maybe I will clear my cart and start over and see what happens.

For the time being, you have to use the old school attachments.

Now that's broken. I just used it.

Your best bet is to send your issue report to webmaster@parallax.com as soon as possible. I will also forward this email thread to our IT department to see if they can figure out what's preventing your access to free priority shipping.

Our office closes at 2pm today for Thanksgiving (11/26/2014) and will remain closed until next Monday (12/01/2014).

There is a minimum weight requirement for USPS Priority shipping (theirs not ours). Total items must weigh 13 ounces in order to qualify. So far the contents of your cart are at less than one ounce.

    Jen,

    Is that for corporate shipping?

I just sent out a 5 oz Priority package to a forum member yesterday.

I gave her that info; I thought the shipping was for first class, which has a weight floor, but the shipping is in fact for priority which has no weight floor.
There does appear to be something incorrectly entered into the address fields of the order in question, which may lead to the problem experienced.

If it's not that, then you could always call in to sales or send an email; our sales reps are very masterful in the ways of customer service, they'd get you set up right.

Sorry about all the problems but after Bump's post I went and checked my address info and what was wrong was the zip code had too many digits. After I corrected that problem the priority mail option showed up. Thanks again for all the help from you fellows on the forum and at parallax.
