FYI The PropBasic compiler is written in Lazarus.

P.S. Pascal is NOT dead. In fact I've even thought about writing a Pascal compiler for the Propeller. Any interest ?

This may have been given a boost, by this report

Seems you can now build PropBASIC on Pi2, and with a Lazarus/FreePascal host on Pi2., that makes the ideal of PropPascal more viable, as that gives a hosted function testing - plus much of the IDE is already there, Pascal Editor Ready.

With some of the string functions pulled in, to make PropPascal similar in use to PropBASIC, and it could be very interesting. :)
