Camera Turret Company For Sale

I'm sad to share with the Parallax community that Lou Chighisola, owner of Camera Turret Company, has passed away.
Lou's early products used BASIC Stamps to control camera platforms (pan and tilt heads). He contacted me about eight years ago after reading one of my columns in Nuts & Volts magazine. I designed an SX-based LANC camera controller for him. From there we migrated the SX into his pan/tilt controllers, and about four years ago we upgraded everything to the Propeller. Ironically, the last project we did together (debuted at NAB 2014) also used LANC (with Propellers in the master and remote ends).
Lou was a wonderful guy, and over the past eight years we became very close friends through our mutual love of entertainment (I'm an actor, he was a musician), flying, and using technology to build interesting products.
I just received a phone call from a family friend that the business is up for sale. If you have an interest, please send me a PM and I will forward your information to the family.

I remember you speaking very highly of Lou over the past years..
It is probably a great lose to you and not just the community he served.
Really sad news about Lou.
We (DT Broadcast) are one of his clients from South Africa. And we would be very interested in buying the company.
