Finally ordered the DE-115 for a little project I am working on.

Been programming for 30 years but this will be the first time I've ever used Verilog or an FPGA. Colour me excited!

    Welcome to the "club" :)
The DE2-115 is a feature packed board and lots of fun.

Thanks! Really looking forward to putting it through its paces.

Will even give Piks retro machine a whirl.

When I got some more time - now I am working on some scientific paper - I want to write a wave/sid player for it.. (now it can do it, but the wav/sid filename is hardcoded :( )... then a "micro DOS" as in Atari (it lists executable files then allow to select one of them.... and then.... a simple Arcanoid type game :)

I've considered having a go at porting MMbasic to the Prop, but may wait for the Prop2 Verilog to be published given how memory constrained the Prop is.

The retromachine has no constraints. Basic program can be stored in SDRAM and there is 128 MB of it. I have a BASIC on my TODO list too.

I think it might fit into that :)
