Ridiculously simple but fun last-minute-emergency project - GameShow!
In fairness, work did give me a week to get it done but with my daughter and I both ending up in the ER the week vanished pretty rapidly.
3 Player "Gameshow", three buttons for the contestants and one for the host to reset.
First player gets green...
Second player gets yellow...
Third gets red...
Took about 3 hours to write the code and "calibrate" it for the table, about at hour to solder the buttons and switches.
Lights were a single length of ws2812 LEDs, attached to the front of the desk using Croc-clips.
Buttons were RatShack pushbuttons.
The Button holders were the shell of pens I stole^Hrecycled from work's stationary cupboard.
Cabling was a length of RJ45 I stripped down to pairs, each pair being run to a button.
It was a lot of fun for a last minute project, just next time I'll skip the ER.
I'll post photos and a link to the code when I get a chance.
