I'm not sure how this product differentiates itself from similar products that are already available. I would have to pledge $25 before I would even receive a sample of one of the products, and I can by something similar for $10.

Insane. I do believe the human race has gone insane. You want a dog but you don't want to face the realities of life.

I don't see how wanting to carry dog poop in a container more sturdy than a plastic bag equates to being insane.

The reality of owning a dog means that you are responsible for it's droppings. How do you get not wanting to face life's realities from a product that makes transporting dog poop a little less disgusting? Do you think it is closer to reality to carry it in a plastic bag? Closer yet to carry it in your bare hands?

I can agree that this is not a necessary product, and I am not endorsing it - just sharing, but to say it is insane and a diversion from reality is... well I think... I think I'll keep what I think to myself.

Me? I always just put the poop in my pocket.. Yeah, cashiers look a little disgusted when I give them change, but hey.. I'm not leaving it on the ground.. :):):)

This sound like a great idea.. I tend to carry my "poop bags" (made out of the thinest materials on earth) by holding the very end of the bag with my fingers, away from my body for the last 1/2 block of my walks.

I've seen quite a few dog owners just tie the bag to the middle of the leash...
(Those that doen't use one of those that coils up into a reel, that is... )

And evidence suggests that quite a few of those who carry the bag in their hand only carries them until they're out of sight and can just throw them aside...
(One of the bastards tossed it into the cockpit of my kayak, which is conveniently laying next to my garage... 2 meters away from my out in the open garbage bin. )

I wonder how much the Wise Walker will sell for. I'm thinking of getting into the dog poop concealment business myself. I think I could buy a bunch of lunch bags for $2 each, and resell them for $25. They have multiple compartments so you could keep your lunch or snacks in one compartment, and store the doggie poo-poo in another compartment. They're made out of plastic, so you wouldn't even need to bother with those silly thin plastic bags. Just hold the lunch bag under your dog while he does his business. Then when he's done just seal up the bag using the velcro fastener included with the bag. And with the optional thermus container you could catch and hold number 1 along with number 2. After all, if won't be long before the government tells us we need to dispose of dog pee in addition to dog poo, so you might as well be ready when it happens.

Hmmm...$20K to seed what is in effect a compartment bag with pull strings or velcro? Seems like a lot.

W9GFO, you might tell your friend if you see him that "Wise-Walker" is already a federal trademark for bags, backpacks, and similar items. For trademark, what the bag is for isn't important, as long as it's a bag, and the hyphen is irrelevant to the claim. He can look this up on TESS at uspto.gov. I see this brand is actively sold in the US under that name, so I'm not sure how he missed it.

So you don't see how wanting to carry dog poop is insane?

My idea: A cane that has a concealed super-soaker that you put over the "landmine" and send it down to live with the worms.

I don't think anyone wants to carry dog poop but the reality is that it is the law to pick up after your pooch and to dispose of it properly.

    I will pass that along.

    Quite so.

    So ditch the pooch.
