Prop_Mini and DipTrace

Hi
I've recently started to attempt learning DipTrace.
I'm going thru tutorials and am very new at this.
Is there someplace, a component "I think that's what it's called"
for the Prop Mini?

I know I'm being quite vague here, but I'm just getting started.
I've seen someplace on the forum, some Parallax parts that can be used in DipTrace.
I can't seem to find them.

I have recently ordered LCD display, Prop Mini, Single relay boards and a few other parts
to put together my Hydropinic timer controller.

I will be working on getting my pushbuttons, display setup and relay outputs circuits.
For now I just would like some clues that may lead me in the right direction.

I'm just now starting with this and would appreciate any suggestions, comments, words of encouragement.

Thanks
Garyg

I don't think there is. I recently used the Prop Mini in a DipTrace project; for that I used two 12-pin headers in the schematic. I did the layout manually, ensuring that I left enough room for the Propeller Mini pcb (which is longer at the top than bottom). This would be a good opportunity to learn to create schematic symbols and PCB components.

    Thanks Jon
The photos you have attached to post#2 are pretty much what I'm after.
I'll attempt something like that in my DipTrace education.
I'll be needing to build two or three small breakout type circuit boards.
Along with the PropMini, I also purchased the PropMini prototype board, so I think
that I'll have a couple of female headers like in your 1st photo.

I already know the circuitry I need. DipTrace education and an attempt at using someone like
OshPark to fabricate the boards will move this process forward.

DipTrace has a good tutorial -- it's worth going through. In the mean time, I have a couple more Propeller Mini projects coming up so I knocked-up a part and pattern. I've attached schematic that will give you a head start. Open it, select the part, right click and save it to the active library (this is a good trick for picking up useful parts from other schematics [especially when a pattern has been assigned]).

It may not be the DipTrace way, but I have schematic and patterns libraries (one each) for the parts I use day-in and day-out.

    Thanks again Jon
My parts from Parallax should be arriving this Friday.
The prop_mini_part loaded in DipTrace and looks good.
Now, I'll continue my DipTrace education.
