I have a project that I need help from the forum members who can write a program for me on my
next project. I am newbie in Prop programming (Spin or any language) and my day job will
not allow me to spend some time to learn how to program. I am willing to pay and hire
who are interested to work with me. Please PM me or email me at reyp2000@aol.com
if you are interested. It does not involved building a hardware. I can do that. I just
need somebody to write the program.

I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post this announcement but I am getting desperate and
I need to finish this project.

Thanks for letting me post.

    Hi Rey,

Welcome to the forum. First of all, you may have noticed many folks have read your request and ignored it. There is a unwritten rule around here (and on just about any forum you'll visit) that we don't do people's homework for them. Sorry.

Heck, If you look in the Parallax OBEX. http://obex.parallax.com you might find something similar.
Just making a minimum effort will get you more responses.

You can also look on this page for consultants:

BTW: I've used Beau's IR code from OBEX and it read a TV remote code. Was very easy to use. Think you only have to change pin# assignments to make it work...

    +1 on Beau's code.

@Paul, Didn't you see the offer to pay? He didn't get ignored. I sent him a PM as he requested.

@Rey, If you decide to take this on yourself, you can expect a lot of help here on the forum.

Edit: Just so others are aware, Rey has put some effort into this project already and has previously tried Beau's code. Here's a link to the thread.

I think Rey's remote will require something like IR Magic (or was it magicIr?). It is possible to have the Prop memorize an unknown signal (I've done this with my camera remote).

@Rey, After looking at your thread, I think I better understand what your trying to do. I'll end you another PM.
I see Beau is taking contract work. He's way smarter (at least about this sort of stuff) than I am, you could see if he's interested in the job.

I am sorry for breaking the rules of the forum, but desperation sometimes requires drastic measures.

For all the PM and emails, thank you very much.

    Aloha.
