    +1

I've had a bunch (well some) custom PCBs made but I'm currently awaiting the arrival of my first custom Prop board.

I sometimes wonder about what sort of quirk in personality causes me to get so much enjoyment from receiving a custom PCB from the fab house. I find it much more exciting than a rational person should.

"Fresh out of the oven!" - nothing like home cooking!! Nice looking board.

@Duane, Hex Caster??? Brainzzz for Hexa-Pods???

I ordered my first set of boards (from someone else's Gerber files) a while back and I was excited when my little box of 10 boards showed up......I wouldn't call it irrational!

Ditto that, both good looking designs, practical connector layout, and fresh. Just hope it works ☺
BTW, nothing irrational at all about getting excited to see boards back, it's part of the creative process, seeing your ideas come together after all that hard work. It's very stimulating and motivating, but it does make it hard to focus on other more pressing matters sometimes 😀

Getting boards in for a new design is always like Christmas time. Typically there are a few oversights, as this latest one I left off a few 4.7k pullups for several additional I2C ports. Easy repair hack. I will make the changes and order a new batch any day now. I use Sunstone so I get boards back in 3 days always. There is a strange rationalization process that occurs for blowing off more pressing projects when you get new boards in.
