After spending what little free I had this summer experimenting with making my own custom live cd, I finally got a working iso to boot and work using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS i386. What's so special about that you may ask? Well for one thing I'm still learning
about linux and second I managed bake in the latest version of SimpleIDE and I programmed one of my quick start boards with
the wack-a-mole demo from the live cd.

I'm still trying to figure out how to put an icon on the desktop to start SimpleIDE, currently it has to be started from the command line. i'm also thinking about removing Thunderbird, Amazon,and maybe the games. Currently the iso is 1.2GB.
So... if any one is interested in this I'll keep working on it. I go back to work this week and it may be next weekend before I have the time to get back to it

To get a launcher/desktop entry for SimpleIDE, put a file in "/usr/share/applications/". Look at other files in that folder and use Google to figure out the format. I'm surprised SimpleIDE doesn't already come with one of these, or am I or are you missing something?
