PJ, I haven't given up hope of being able to tackle Mechatromics,....however its a long journey. The computer science would help
but then I think you really need EE.
Ive listed thje subjects, Three I am about to take over the summer Nov to Feb a short semester
then eight over 2015, 8 over 2016 then at least 5 over 2017. Mechatronics is more like a double degree with Mechanical
Engineering bits thrown in !

I think becoming a doctor is easier if you
can make it through the Gamsat test ! You just need to do well
in one degree to sit the test !

Gamsat
I Reasoning in Humanities and Social Sciences
GAMSAT evaluates the nature and extent of abilities
and skills gained through prior experience and learning,
including the mastery and use of concepts in basic
science as well as the acquisition of more general skills
in problem solving, critical thinking and writing.
II Written Communication

Mike, you might like Mechatronics because it blends mechanical, electrical, and computer systems into one package. A robot is mechatronic. A related field is Systems Engineering.
