Anyone ever played around with one of these software defined radio things? I knew they existed but never really investigated them. I saw this on one of my favorite YouTube channels the other day, and they look pretty interesting. There's got to be at least a week-end or two of cheap fun to be had with one of these.

    I picked up one of these a while back. Just shiny another thing! :-)

    It works pretty well in that I can pick up all the local FM radio stations and a few aircraft transmissions. I think it needs a better antenna tho. (Currently using a Radio Shack teevee antenna.)

    I used on a mac and pc in Olympic Speed track to monitor wireless cam data feq 400 MHz.
    Work like a charm.
    Useful waterfall time monitoring
