Hello,
I want to build this controller for a 35-48V DC 5A Motor (brushed)
The schematic is for a 24 motor, and want to modify it for my motor.
But i have some questions about the zener diodes
Can i keep these or do i need some with higher voltage? (i don't know why they are there)
greetings
Luc

Change the 7812 for a switch-mode buck regulator that can tolerate 50V on its input,
as the 35V rail will probably carry voltage spikes from the motor. There are DC-DC
converters that take a nominal 36V input but work from 18V to 72V, that's the kind
of thing.
Check the voltage rating on the free-wheel diodes and MOSFETs is adequate.
That diagram has no fuse, you must have a fuse.
