70 Week Bot Build: Robi

Not sure if many American DIYers would have the patience to wait a year and a half to receive all the parts to build this robot. But it works in Japan and it does appear to be a cool little bot. A Korean friend of mine bought all the parts, but hasn't built it yet. I think he is savoring the build potential as I continue to do with my unbuilt Heathkit HW-9 kits.

That is a cool magazine subscription.
I think I could wait the 70 weeks, especially if they could send it to me all at once the first week, then I could for sure wait the 70 weeks...

Definitely had the typical Japanese cuteness factor. It is hard to tell what more practical features it might have.

That is a big set of Robot parts, and would be nice to have.. So I asked the wife if I could sell her car in order to buy the set,
I was stunned when she said no, I couldn't believe it.
Maybe I will ask her again after I pull the shoe out of my computer monitor...

We gotta find a reason and time to meet up again. It's been too long since the Parallax Expo (2012?) You gotta get me up to speed on rudder wheels.

Most likely, reason will have nothing to do with it, But keep that Flame throwing BoeBot warmed up, and hopefully we can meet up at a Parallax summer event in 2015.
It's only a matter of time before the Flame bot and an ELEV8 become 'as one', and I really want to be there for that...
