Hi
I just noticed Parallax is selling a PIr Mini Sensor. http://www.parallax.com/product/28033
This appears to be a new product.
I did not notice a field of view specification.
I have in use at this time, two of the standard PIR parallax rev B sensors.
I have one of them mounted with a tube to narrow the field of view.
I did that to avoid false triggering during the daytime .
It works perfectly.
I have a 2nd standard PIR sensor wthout the tube, but in that application I need to turn it off
during daylight hours because of false triggering.
When I look at the picture of the Mini PIR sensor, the lense cover is different from the original standard design.
I may have missed the field of view of this product, I checked a few times and still did not see it.
Does anyone have experience with this product?
Thanks

I have requested the information from the manufacturer of the part. I will post what information is available when I have heard back.

This will definitely be worth a try.
I'll include one in my next Parallax order.
